Growing engineering firm has an opening for a Solidworks Drafter/Designer. This is a contract to hire position starting ASAP!
Duties:
* Produce detailed models and drawings using Solidworks
* Establish/document CAD standards
* Apply GD&T, sheet metal and machine design practices to support engineering projects
* Support prototype testing
* Build/maintain bills of materials (BOM)
Requirements:
* AA/AAS degree in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology
* Solidworks proficiency required
* Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
* Experience with sheet metal and machine design
* Understanding of fabrication processes and shop practices
Rate: $31-36/hr
