Mechanical (Process) Engineer

Refinery / oilseed process equipment engineering company has an opening for a Mechanical / Process Engineer. Direct hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

• Provide equipment and process design from concept through startup/operation
• Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection
• Create mechanical equipment fabrication drawings
• Provide project design support
• Provide equipment startup support, ensuring accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of applicable experience – will consider all levels
• Experience creating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs
• Process equipment layout and design experience
• AutoCAD experience
• Inventor experience a big plus
• Ability to travel up to 15-20%
