Mechanical Designer II – Solidworks

Established engineering firm has an opening for a Mechanical Designer II with Solidworks proficiency. Direct hire position with very competitive benefits!

Duties:
* Develop 3D models, assemblies and full system designs
* Apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and select fabrication tolerances
* Participate in design reviews
* Support prototype testing
* Build/maintain bills of materials (BOM)

Requirements:
* AA/AAS degree in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology
* Solidworks proficiency required
* Solidworks certification (CSWP) a plus
* Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
* Experience with sheet metal and machine design
* Understanding of fabrication processes and shop practices

Salary: $80-95K
