Civil Engineer – highway / transportation

Growing civil engineering firm has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer. Position offers plenty of variety – includes field work and design!

Duties:

• Provide engineering and support regarding construction plans, specifications, and project designs for highway/transportation projects
• Plan, develop, and implement highway design and construction projects
• Perform field work – includes staking, surveying, and materials testing
• Prepare civil drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ensure design work is in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Attending public meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 1+ year of civil engineering experience – will consider all levels!
• Experience working on roadway/highway/transportation projects
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience highly preferred
