Architectural Designer – metal framing systems

Architectural metal framing systems fabrication company has an opening for an experienced Designer. Great opportunity to work on one-of-a-kind projects!

Duties:

• Create 3D models for complex metal framing systems
• Create detailed shop drawings
• Prepare installation instructions and coordinate on-site installations
• Interface with project managers, manufacturing, customers, and sales

Requirements:

• 2-year or 4-year degree (will consider degrees in Architecture, Architectural Drafting/Design, or Engineering)
• 5+ years of experience designing architectural metals, curtain wall systems, or facades
• Strong 3D modeling experience
• Rhino and/or Revit experience
• Experience working in a design-to-fabrication environment
• Ability to learn new technologies in fast-paced environment
