Architectural millwork and store fixtures company has an immediate opening for an Installation Project Manager. Contract-direct position.
The Installation Manager is responsible for scheduling and managing projects involving any jobsite installation of store fixtures in new and/or existing facilities.
Will track all project installations, follow-up on all critical path items, inform team of potential risks, and ensure projects are on time and on budget.
Interface on current projects with Project Management
Review shop drawings and floor plans for planned fixture installation.
Solve problems that arise with any project under the direction of that Project Manager (responsible for being on 24-hour, 7-day a week on call).
Coordinate jobsites with other trades and defines project timelines
Monitor project budget
Attend appropriate Engineering, Production, and Project Management meetings
Schedule and staff Installation Crews for each jobsite
Work in the field as needed and able to manage projects while on site
Assist in the hiring and training of installation personnel
Develop a network of installers nationwide
5+ years of experience coordinating installation or construction projects
Experience working with general contractors
Experience with jobsite conditions
MUST be able to read shop drawings, architectural drawings, and design sketches accurately and interpret information contained in these documents for application in the engineering and production departments.
Must have exceptional communication skills
Ability to multi-task
MS Office proficiency
Ability to travel when needed
