Metal fabrication/manufacturing company has an opening for a Production Control Manager. Direct hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

• Develop and lead production scheduling communication processes for multiple shifts
• Manage the Production Control department of 8-10 people in a metal fabrication/welding environment
• Streamline planning processes
• Monitor, track, report, advise, and conduct production planning processes
• Provide schedule and release direction for manufacturing orders within the facility
• Manage the activities of the department staff – incudes hiring, training, policy communication, etc.
• Coordinate the scheduling of orders with sales, manufacturing, and engineering
• Maintain and improve company’s MRP system
• Assist Manufacturing and Purchasing departments in determining appropriate inventory stock levels

Requirements:

• Associates for Bachelors Degree preferred (Supply Chain Management, Engineering/Technical/Manufacturing, Business degree a big plus)
• 3+ years of experience as a Production Control Manager OR a Senior / Master Scheduler
• Must have experience leading production scheduling communication processes
• Experience managing production personnel with different skill levels/experience
• Experience working in a metal environment – fabrication, welding, machining, etc.
• Experience working with an ERP/MRP system
• APICS certification a plus
