HR Coordinator – Compensation & Benefits Full Time

The HR Coordinator participates in the design and implementation of executive and director-level compensation and benefit plans. Ensures that administration of plans is consistent and in compliance with various tax and regulatory requirements.

Essential functions:

• Assist with the administration of executive compensation and benefit plans including, but not limited to, non-qualified defined benefit and contribution programs, deferred compensation, equity awards, annual incentive plans and financial planning.

• Assist with the administration of director and board compensation and benefit plans including, but not limited to, cash compensation, deferred compensation, equity awards, and charitable awards.

• Assist in preparation of meeting materials related to deferred compensation and directors’ cash and deferred compensation for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.

• Ensure appropriate accounting and tax procedures are implemented.

• Manage daily administration process to ensure executive and director plans are consistent and in compliance

• Liaison with Payroll, Tax, Finance, and third-party administrators

• Effectively prepare and deliver written and verbal education and communications to participants.• Manage relationships with third-party service providers.

• Respond to and accommodate requests from Internal Audit and the external auditors and participate in complying with SOX requirements In addition, the Senior level position would be responsible for:

• Manage or assist with design of appropriate executive compensation and benefit plans including, but not limited to, deferred compensation, equity awards, annual incentive plans and financial planning.

• Assist with design of appropriate director and board compensation and benefit plans including, but not limited to, cash compensation, deferred compensation, equity awards, and charitable awards.

• Prepare meeting materials related to deferred compensation and directors’ cash and deferred compensation for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.

• Ensure appropriate accounting and tax procedures are implemented. Manage and review reconciliations of accounts and ensure appropriate communication with Finance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate executive compensation administration.
  • Working knowledge of internal controls/SOX and accounting.
  • Excellent skills in organization, written and oral communication, data analysis, research and complex problem-solving required.
  • Proficient in the use of applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Must be personable and able to provide excellent customer service to company executives, board members, and retirees.
