The Architectural Designer supports Equipment and Technology Specialists, producing high quality, creative space plans and specifications for clientele, while focusing on ergonomics, proper equipment placement, detail, and code compliance.
In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Experience: 1-2 years of professional architectural design experience.- Familiarity with uniform building codes ANSI & ADA guidelines.
– Interior finishes experience a plus, along with general construction knowledge.
Strong computer skills including:
-Familiarity with AIA layering standards.
-Experience using AutoCAD or Architectural Desktop software, including but not limited to the use of tool palettes, AEC object styles, paperspace (layout tabs).
-Experience with 3D tools available in ADT and/or AutoCAD.
-Experience using schedules in ADT and/or AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills:
-Ability to work well in teams
-Ability to communicate in a professional manner verbally and a solid understanding of written English and an ability to edit written text in paragraph and on plans
Good organizational skills:
-Ability to work independently in an effective, expeditious, and precise manner.
-Ability to juggle multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
